According to the statistics of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), science is one of the fastest growing fields in the job market, accounting for a whopping total of 80 percent. However, it is estimated that only 36 percent of students nationwide are prepared to advance in related studies for college. This discrepancy is largely due to the inaccessibility of education. That is why Subaru, working in conjunction with the AAAS, wants to bolster this potential by making this cause the highlight of this month's Subaru Loves Learning charity initiative.

Partnering with 477 retailers across the nation, Subaru hopes to collect approximately 76,000 copies of award-winning science books. Once the month-long sprint for donations ends, it will then supply these books to kindergarten through twelfth-grade students. The goal is thus to inspire would-be scientists and give a greater opportunity to those in need.

Philanthropic actions like the one described above are the reason why our Hatfield Subaru can say with pride that we are associated with the brand. That is why locals who visit our dealership in Columbus will find that we also do our best to nurture the community. We encourage you to get involved with us in this endeavor.
