A 16-year veteran of the automotive industry, Freddy Tamayo has been an indispensable member of the Sonic Automotive family since he first joined the organization in 2008. Upon graduating from the Sonic GM Academy in 2012, Freddy has distinguished himself as a leader and team builder in a number of important capacities. But first and foremost, he is a people-oriented individual, driven by the need to provide all of Hatfield Subaru's guests with the best in customer service. And as Freddy exemplifies, this all starts with team building.
Although Freddy's primary duties as general manager consists of overseeing dealership operations, what he truly excels at is recruiting and hiring the best individuals available. With a true eye for talent and potential, Freddy takes great pleasure in continually training and motivating his team. With the understanding  that there is a direct correlation between the satisfaction of a company's  associates and the satisfaction of its customers, Freddy incessantly works to  promote a nurturing, positive environment for his associates. Very simply, the  more satisfied a dealership's associates are, the more engaged, dependable, and inspired they are to deliver strong, comprehensive customer service.
